Shipping & Delivery
How, where and when we ship — and what it costs. We show the exact delivery options and prices at checkout before you pay. Because every piece is handmade, please read the lead times below.
01 Where we ship
We ship across the EU and to selected international destinations. The options available to your address are shown at checkout; if your country is not listed, email steven@psychedelic.science and we will see what we can do. Orders may be dispatched from the Netherlands or directly from our partners in Peru, depending on the piece. Pieces won at a live in-person auction (such as ICPR Amsterdam) are handed to the winner at the event — no shipping applies.
02 Delivery costs
Delivery is calculated by destination and weight and is shown in full at checkout before you confirm. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — there are no hidden charges from us.
03 Processing & delivery times
Most in-stock pieces are dispatched within 1–3 business days. Made-to-order and commissioned pieces take longer — typically 2–4 weeks — and the lead time is shown on the product page. Once dispatched, estimated transit times are roughly:
- Netherlands: 1–3 business days
- Rest of EU: 3–7 business days
- International: 7–21 business days
Unless we agree another date with you, we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days at the latest, as required by EU law.
04 Carriers & tracking
We ship with DHL and PostNL. When your order is on its way you will receive a confirmation email with tracking where available. Please make sure your address and contact details are correct — we cannot be responsible for delays caused by incorrect details.
05 Customs, duties & import taxes
For deliveries within the EU, prices include VAT and there are no extra import charges. For deliveries outside the EU, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs fees set by the destination country. These are not included in our prices or delivery charge and are your responsibility as the recipient. Customs clearance can also add time to delivery.
06 Risk & lost or damaged parcels
For consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you (or someone you nominate, other than the carrier) receive the goods. If your parcel arrives damaged, or does not arrive within a reasonable time, contact steven@psychedelic.science with your order number and we will help — including a refund or replacement where you are entitled to one.
